The new South Shore High School will be located at 1955 E. 75th St., Chicago, Illinois.  This new 200,000 SF three story school will implement the new CPS Urban Model High School (UMHS) prototypical design to service 1,200 students.

Constructed of steel frame and masonry the building will include music, art and athletic functions plus a lower level.

LEED features:  This building will incorporate the sustainable design criteria required by the USGBC to achieve LEED "Silver" Certification.
