The new Little Village Branch Library is located at 2311 S. Kedzie Avenue in
Chicago. This project is based on the PBC prototype design. The new
16,300 sf. one story full service branch library will be located adjacent to the
future Engine Company 109 being constructed by The George Sollitt Construction
Company..
LEED Features:
This building will incorporate the sustainable design criteria
required by the USGBC to achieve LEED "Silver" Certification. It
is unique in that it offers the opportunity for sustainability through shared
site features with Engine Company 109.
