The Grace Lutheran Church is located at 493 Forest Avenue in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The two story 34,148 sf. ft. addition will include a 57 ft. bell tower, new first floor main entry, narthex and elevator. The second floor will feature a parlor meeting room with cathedral ceiling and curtain wall, choir room and multi-purpose room. The lower level will add a new youth room and much needed storage space along with new toilet facilities throughout the addition. The project includes renovations to the existing sanctuary including a new roof, installation and a fire protection sprinkler system. The project broke ground in June of 2008 and is scheduled for completion March 2009.
