Trumbull Park Homes is a Chicago Housing Authority family development originally built in south Chicago in 1938.  The scope of this project included the complete redevelopment of the site, and the renovation of 55 buildings totaling 434 family units.

Each building was completely upgraded to provide a pleasant and safe environment.  Extensive environmental abatement was required in each building, including mold remediation, asbestos abatement and lead paint removal.  Complete mechanical and electrical systems were replaced in each building including piping, plumbing, heating and air conditioning.

The renovation work included carpentry repairs, door and hardware replacement, window replacement, repair or replacement of all interior finishes including, new bathroom fixtures, new kitchens, new appliances, temperature control systems, hot water heaters, plumbing fixtures, electrical devices, and lighting fixtures.

Exterior work included concrete site work, masonry, and roofing, along with new entry doors. Select buildings were renovated to offer seven new up-to-date ADA compliant ground floor units.  Site work included new paving, walkways, fencing, landscaping, playgrounds and refuse areas.

Phase I was completed in December of 2006, and  Phase II was completed in August 2007. The remainder of the project lasted three years.
