St Isaac Jogues Church

Description

This two-story 18,000 square foot addition, with a 9,000 square foot basement, became the hub of activity on an already busy church campus.  The first floor includes a parish center, kitchen, restrooms and connecting links to the church, school and old rectory.  The second floor includes standard classrooms, and connections to the old rectory and school.  In addition, the roof of the underutilized Henehan Hall was raised to accommodate gymnasium/meeting use and the existing convent was converted to classrooms.  Extensive courtyard landscaping and careful selection of materials bring the addition into harmony with adjacent buildings.
