Description
This new three-story, 90,000 square foot is a structural steel frame building with poured concrete decks. Exterior walls are face brick veneer with cast stone accents over structural stud framing. The facility houses classrooms and administrative offices and features a high level of interior finishes throughout. Located within a busy campus, squeezed into a very tight site between, and linked to, adjacent buildings, the project required careful attention to site access, traffic control, housekeeping, and security to minimize impact on ongoing student activities. Extensive relocation of existing site utilities, including high-pressure steam lines and electrical distribution lines, was required.
