Description
The Oak Park Street Improvement project encompasses the removal of an existing pedestrian-only mall and re-construction of two new streets that allow for through traffic, parking and streetscape. Brick pavers provide a road surface similar to the original early 20th century street. Bluestone sidewalks and granite curbs are in keeping with the historic character of the downtown area. Along with the high end streetscapes, planters and a new fountain are featured.
