Description
Geared toward providing a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, the Center features a lower level and four stories above grade. Situated adjacent to the South Campus Gateway, the building establishes a strong focal point to anchor the Medical Center’s Ambulatory Care zone. The lower level includes Radiation Oncology and MRI facilities. Four linear accelerators are housed below grade in vaults behind one foot thick steel plate shielding embedded into four foot thick reinforced concrete walls to provide protection from radiation. The structure is linked to the 6 story, 400,000 square foot parking facility previously completed by Sollitt.
