Coal City High School

Description

As Construction Manager, our challenge was to build additions to three sides of a high school with most of the construction occurring during the school year.  We carefully coordinated with school administration and created detailed phasing, logistics and safety plays to accomplish our task with a minimum of disruption to the educational environment.  We coordinated daily with the Principal and made certain our work didn’t conflict with on-going activities, especially sports events.  The various phases of the project were delivered on time as was the overall schedule for the project.  Our budgeting during the early stages of design was confirmed by bidding at the subcontractor level and the project was delivered under budget.
