This project encompasses the construction of a three-story
elementary school building for the Public Building Commission
of Chicago. It includes
38 classrooms, science, art
and computer rooms, a library, a gymnasium, a modern cafeteria
with prep kitchen and a performance stage with theatrical
lighting and sound equipment. This 114,000 square foot
facility is constructed of pre-cast concrete panels, a glazed
curtain wall and masonry components. The building features
ornamental fencing, landscaping and a vegetative roof to help
promote a cleaner environment.
