The Belvidere New High School is located on a 120 acres
that it shares with the new Elementary School that
was constructed by Sollitt and opened August 2006.
This new 318,000 SF High School is constructed of
masonry and structural steel. It includes 47 classrooms, science and
technology labs, an 8,160 SF media center/library and a 30,000 SF gymnasium.
The athletic wing consists of the gymnasium and outdoor athletic fields;
the athletic fields are equipped with specialized irrigation and
drainage systems.

- A football field with an eight lane track with shot put/discus
areas
- Three baseball fields
- Three softball fields
- Three soccer fields
- Eight synthetic tennis courts

The campus also includes an interior courtyard with
landscaping and tiered seating area. Additional site work included
storm and sanitary sewers, water main, roadways and parking.
