This project extends our long and successful working relationship with the Chicago Pubic Schools (CPS). This project is a first for the CPS because it calls for the renovation and addition to an existing school.

The John Marsh Elementary School is located at 9810 S. Exchange Ave. in Chicago.  The design by Architrave, Ltd. called for an addition of 80,000 square feet, and the renovation of 60,000 square feet of the existing four story structure.

The renovation work includes complete ADA upgrades throughout, along with replacement and upgrades to all MEP systems.  The design blends old and new.  The addition adds 26 new classrooms, science labs, music room, library, gym and kitchen.  New information technology components were installed to computer and internet access.  The project was completed in 15 month.
