This expansion features a 10,000 square foot addition to provide a multipurpose room, classrooms for daycare and Sunday school, a kitchen and additional bathrooms.  Sitework also included providing an expanded parking lot and playground area.  The current fire alarm, life safety and sprinkler systems for the existing 40,000 square foot facility was upgraded or replaced.  One challenge for this project was constructing the addition 15 feet from the existing church sanctuary. Careful planning of excavation and building structural components was required to ensure that the existing historically significant church sanctuary was maintained unharmed and in service during construction.
